EUFORES Parliamentary Workshop -”Can the EU help to make the UK’s energy cleaner, affordable and secure?”

1st March 2016 - Organised in association with the All Party Parliamentary Renewable & Sustainable Energy Group (PRASEG), The European Forum for Renewable Energy Sources (EUFORES) held a workshop on energy efficiency and renewable energy on the 1 March 2016, 11:00hrs – 15:00hrs, Attlee Suite, Portcullis House, Westminster, London.

Exploring key questions such as what an energy union will mean for the UK and whether current UK policies are adequate to meet carbon and fuel poverty targets, the workshop aimed to encourage a political and scientific discussion between British and European parliamentarians, government officials, industry, NGOs, scientists and other relevant stakeholders to exchange views and experiences regarding the implementation of renewable energy and energy efficiency policies in the UK.
